Exploring Moths and Butterflies
- Students learned the difference between moths and butterflies, listened
to moth and butterfly stories, created a craft and finger play about the
life cycle, and visited with our catapillers and butterflies. Weather
permitting, the students were able to watch the release of a monarch butterfly.
The program is held during the month of September. Call for reservations.

George Catlin: From the Endless Mountains to the Wide West -
Students are introduced to the artist, George Catlin, learn of his connection to Bradford County, and explored his art through some of the Native American objects held at the Tioga Point Museum. They hear stories, construct crafts, and study the museum's collections. Students are encouraged to utilize interactive children's websites about George Catlin at the Smithsonian American Art Museum and National Gallery of Art.
