Although the itineraries vary slightly this is an overview our exciting trip -

6:30 - 6:45 - K-mart Plaza, Sayre, PA Start your day aboard the motor coach bound for Philadelphia, PA. You will be joined on board by your step- on guide who will stay with your group through out the day taking care of your needs and offering insight into the area you travel through.

7:00 - Coach will pull out of the K-mart parking lot at 7:00am sharp.

8:45 - Brief rest stop in Wilkes-Barre.

11:00 - Arrive at Franklin Institute in Philadelphia, dedicated to inspiring, understanding, and the passion for science and technology, as embodied by Ben Franklin and the natural curiosity in all of us.

11:30 - One of only 4 host sites in the USA, the institute is proud to present Tuntankhamun and the Golden Age of the Pharaohs. An extensive exhibition of more than 130 treasures from the tombs of the celebrated Tutankhamun, other valley of the kings tombs and other ancient sites. The exhibit is generating revenue which will go towards preserving Egypt's treasures and building a grand museum in Cairo. The treasures in the exhibit are between 3300 and 3500 years old and differ from those included in the renowned 1970's US tour. Also featured are National Geographic images and film footage about the Golden Age of the Pharaohs.

Lunch will be on your own at one of the eateries located on site - coffee shop, cafeteria and fine dinning available.

1:00 - IMAX movie - Mysteries of Egypt proves once again that the next best thing to experiencing the real thing is an IMAX film.

After enjoying the TUT exhibit and IMAX film the rest of the afternoon is yours to browse the Franklin Institute's incredible permanent exhibits.

4:30 - Depart for home your head filled with golden wonders of the ancient world.

6:30 - Stop for dinner at approx. 6:30 depending on traffic leaving the city. We will stop at the Cracker Barrel in Wilkes-Barre and a $10 dinner card is included in the package.

9:15 - Arrive in Sayre and bid your guide and friends a fond good night.
